General Summary
CNC Machinist: Set-up, operates, and monitors the running of parts on a CNC machine in a production environment. The CNC Machinist is responsible for working within the team to complete the orders to ship and meet customer due dates.
Essential Job Functions
· Work Schedule is flexible based in the business demand which includes weekdays/weekends, and all shifts.
· Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and measuring instruments.
· Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as milling machines; measure first-piece and in-process parts per customer specifications.
· Set-up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order perform precision machining operations.
· Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
· Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products and determine product dimensions and tolerances.
· Maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
· Program computer and electronic instruments such as numerically controlled machined tools.
· Set control to regulate machining, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
· Preset tools using Zoller machine and software.
· Okuma CNC machines, knowledge of probe capability.
· Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance.
· Knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology.
· Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
· Working knowledge of SolidWorks, or other equivalent CAD/CAM software.
· Understand AS9100 and how it relates to their job.
· Understand FOD and how it relates to their job.

Education/Qualification Requirements
· Minimum High School Diploma or GED
· 1 to 3 years of experience
· For ITAR compliance, all employees must be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
· Physical requirements: standing for extended periods of time, lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
· Employee to have reliable transportation.
· Okuma OSP experience highly desired
