Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Swiss Operator and Setup to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Swiss screw machines to produce precision parts. Your expertise will ensure that our production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC Swiss screw machines, including installing tooling, fixtures, and programming for optimal operation
  • Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce high-precision components according to blueprints and specifications
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to ensure continuous production
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications
  • Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions
  • Utilize hand tools and fabrication equipment such as welding tools, press brake machines, and plasma cutters when necessary for tooling or part modifications
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine settings, and inspection results

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss screw machines or similar CNC machining equipment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining processes including CNC programming, laser cutting, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and stamping presses
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and GD&T standards for precise manufacturing work
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other quality inspection tools
  • Knowledge of tooling setup, fabrication techniques, and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely (certification preferred)
  • Basic math skills for calculating measurements, tolerances, and machine adjustments
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
