CNC Swiss Set Up Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Set Up Machines: Independently set up, adjust, and operate Swiss-style lathes, from loading bar feeders to loading programs and setting up live tooling
• Program Optimization: Edit G-code to dial in dimensions, optimize cycle times and improve tool life
• Quality Control: Perform first-article inspection (FAI) and in-process checks using state of the art vision systems
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions, identify and correct tool wear, and stabilize processes

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in setting up and operating CNC Swiss lathes. Cincom highly preffered
• Technical Skills: Light programming ability required. Proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T. Experience with Fanuc/Mitsubishi controls
• Materials: Experience machining stainless steel, titanium, and medical-grade plastics
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
