CNC/CAM Programmer / Setup Machinist

We’re looking for someone with experience in SolidWorks, HSMXpress, CNC vertical milling, setup, and tooling selection.

The ideal candidate should be able to take a part from
drawing/model to finished machined part, including CAM programming, tool
selection, machine setup, and proving out the program.

Responsibilities include:

Create and modify 3D models/drawings in SolidWorks Program CNC
vertical mill operations using HSMXpress Set up jobs on a CNC vertical mill
Select proper tooling, feeds, speeds, workholding, and machining strategies
Read and interpret prints, tolerances, and GD&T where applicable Verify
parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other inspection tools
Troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes Maintain organized files,
programs, setup sheets, and tooling information

Requirements:

Extensive Experience with SolidWorks Experience with HSMXpress
or similar CAM software CNC vertical mill setup experience Knowledge of
tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, and basic G-code Ability to work from
drawings and 3D models Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently
and solve problems

Preferred but not required:

Experience with Bridgeport CNC mills or similar machines
Experience with Fanuc-style controls Experience machining aluminum, steel,
stainless, and plastics Ability to create setup notes and organize CAM/post
files
