Co-Scheduling/Purchasing

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating scheduling activities across various departments. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless operations within the organization.

Duties

• Develop and maintain schedules for procurement, manufacturing, and logistics operations.
• Coordinate with various departments to align production schedules with supply chain management.
• Utilize ERP systems such as Aptean to manage inventory control and procurement processes.
• Oversee sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with contracts and procurement management policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supplier relationships to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Maintain accurate records of scheduling activities, contracts, and vendor management documentation.

Skills

• Proficiency in Aptean is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of procurement management, MRP, sourcing, and purchasing practices.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles, including inventory management and control.
• Excellent negotiation skills for effective contract management and supplier relations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating vendor performance and pricing strategies.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and logistics operations is a plus.

Projected Total Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
