Coating Technician 2nd Shift

Paulo is the largest privately held Heat Treat company in the United States and has been in business for over 75 years. We have 5 locations in the Midwest and have expanded into South America.

We are looking to fill a production role (Coating Technician) in our plant in Willoughby, OH (44094). 2nd shift- $19.05 +1.00

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Properly prepare slurry, binder, and associated additives needed for the mixing process.
• Load and unload parts from the preheat oven.
• Load and unload parts onto / off part fixtures per shop order and work instructions.
• Follow the production schedule determined by the Production Scheduling and Dept Supervisor.
• Monitor all equipment gauges throughout the shift and notify the Area Manager of any anomalies.
• Maintain lot control while processing as required.
• Meet production goals and order due dates.
• Understand and follow all shop order procedures and work instructions pertaining to the coating department.
• Have basic working knowledge of the use of various measurement instruments.
• Clean production parts as necessary.
• Accumulate excess slurry from mixing and coating and prepare for recovery processing.
• Log daily activity detailing job processed, inspected and material used.
• Report deviations from specifications to the Area Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Production Scheduler, Production Manager or Plant Manager.
• Perform required material handling using a forklift or load cart when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is essential for success.
• Paulo Cleveland is a 24 hour, 7-day a week facility. Weekends may be required and overtime will be mandatory.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, this includes THC.
