Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
Greet and engage guests with friendly, attentive service that fits the arcade bar atmosphere.
Operate point-of-sale systems for game credits, food and beverage sales, and cover charges accurately.
Monitor arcade floors to ensure machines are functioning, report maintenance issues, and assist with simple troubleshooting and restarts.
Support event nights and DJ sets by managing lines, enforcing age and venue policies (21+), and assisting with crowd flow.
Perform light cleaning and sanitation of guest areas, games, and bar surfaces to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
Assist with stocking, basic food and beverage preparation, and inventory rotation as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members and management to execute promotions, special events, and cross-venue initiatives with Night Owl when applicable.
Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications
Required:
Must be 21 years or older to work in the venue.
Available for part-time, evening, and weekend shifts; ability to work nights is required.
Strong customer-service orientation and clear, positive communication skills.
Basic cash handling experience or ability to learn POS systems quickly.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a lively, crowded environment.
Preferred:
Previous experience in hospitality, bars, arcades, or entertainment venues.
Knowledge of classic arcade games, pinball, or gaming culture and enthusiasm for learning technical basics.
TABC or equivalent alcohol-service certification (or willingness to obtain).
Experience supporting events, managing lines, or crowd control.
Comfort with basic hands-on troubleshooting and light maintenance of arcade machines.
