Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and experience in fast-paced dining or nightlife environments. This role involves crafting high-quality cocktails, providing outstanding guest experiences, and maintaining a clean and safe bar area. Prior experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing drink orders and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Toast.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours, including nightclubs or banquet events.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment.
- Assist in catering or event setups when required, including serving at banquets or special functions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, cocktail bar, or speakeasy settings preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing sales accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in food service or retail math is advantageous.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in a hospitality environment.
