Cocktail Server

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Cocktail Server to join our upscale dining and nightlife establishment. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure timely and accurate beverage service, and create a memorable experience for our patrons. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong multitasking skills, and a solid understanding of food and beverage operations within a restaurant bar.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take beverage orders accurately using our POS system
• Serve cocktails, drinks, and food items in a timely manner while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Handle cash and process payments efficiently using our POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, bar stations, and serving utensils in accordance with food safety standards
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting stations
• Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and sanitation procedures at all times
• Build positive guest relations by providing excellent customer service and addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly

Skills

• Prior cocktail serving experience in fine dining or upscale dining preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Previous experience in food service required
• Knowledge of the food industry standards for serving alcohol responsibly and maintaining guest safety

Pay: $16.90 per hour
