Coded Welder/Fabricator

Overview
We are currently seeking skilled time-served Coded Welders to join our team at our Great Yarmouth workshop for confirmed projects. The ideal candidates will have experience in the welding of structural fabrication.

This role involves fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components to create finished products.

## Duties
- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to engineering drawings
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively

## Requirements
- Prior experience in Welding & Fabrication is mandatory
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Competency in using hand tools and power tools for metalwork

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal parts and assemblies according to technical drawings and specifications
• Perform SMAW welding and other welding processes on different materials, including sheet metal
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
• Cut, shape, and assemble components using appropriate techniques
• Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project requirements
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
