Founded in New Jersey, we’ve expanded across the U.S., partnering with hundreds of schools to deliver inclusive, engaging, and skill-building enrichment programs that empower the next generation of thinkers, makers, and leaders.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead engaging enrichment classes covering a rich variety of subjects — from Technology, Writing-Intensive Creative Projects, Arts & Crafts, Sports, to Game-Based Learning. Our current catalog also includes STEAM, digital design, entrepreneurship, board-game strategy, app development, creative writing, and more.

Position Overview

We’re seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and creative educators to join our After-School Enrichment Team for the Spring 2026 Season!
As a Part-Time Instructor (1–2 hours per day), you’ll lead small-group classes designed to inspire students and make learning exciting and hands-on.

Current Class Openings (Looking for LEADS and ASSISTANTS):

Availability on Tues, Weds, Thursdays

Coding (HTML/JAVASCRIPT/SCRATCH)

Cybersecurity

Robotics - Programming

No prior expertise required (for most subjects) — we provide complete curriculum guides, materials, and training!

What We’re Looking For

• Genuine enthusiasm for engaging and inspiring students
• Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, or camp counseling)
• Dependability, patience, and a positive attitude
• Reliable transportation to school sites
• Willingness to follow school safety and health protocols

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enrichment classes using VAC’s ready-to-go curriculum
• Create a fun, inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents
• Collaborate with the VAC team to maintain program quality

Requirements

• Prior teaching, tutoring, or youth leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Must complete a background check prior to starting
