Position Overview
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Coding Instructor to lead weekly after-school classes for middle school students. This is a great opportunity for educators, recent graduates, or tech professionals who want to share their passion for technology and help students strengthen problem-solving, creativity, and digital literacy skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

What You’ll Teach

• Beginner-friendly coding lessons taught once per week.
• Creative projects that foster teamwork, critical thinking, and innovation.
• Activities that balance structured instruction with open-ended exploration.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging coding sessions using the provided curriculum.
• Guide students with step-by-step support while encouraging collaboration and persistence.
• Share class updates and feedback with program staff.
• Prepare and organize devices, materials, and classroom supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, or supervising children in classrooms, camps, or enrichment programs.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to the full Fall schedule.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
