Coffee Barista (Weekend Shifts)

Attention all coffee and matcha lovers!

Looking to hire an experienced barista or customer service worker to handle the WEEKEND SHIFTS (Friday - Sunday) for opening and/or closing shifts at 3THYME COFFEE located in Koreatown. (ATM, the ability to cover weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday is highly preferred)

Overview
Enhance your barista knowledge and coffee grinding skills, while working through the general customer service workflow at a family-owned independent coffee shop!

Job Description
- Learning the opening & closing shift routine, depending on when you work

- Working the POS system (cashier)- Handling general barista work
- Adjusting the coffee grind in the morning (if skills applicable)- Excellent customer service

- Consistent sanitary upkeeping throughout your shift (There’s always something to do!)
- Handling light food prep ranging from pastries to sandwiches and burritos

Requirements

- Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

- Part time with ~20+ hours commitment!

- Some level of skills with barista work and knowledge (You will be tested during training!)
- Food Handler Certification

- Strong communication and customer service skills- Must have a positive attitude! :)
- Must be proficient in English.

--> Being bilingual in Korean is a plus!
- Must be a team player!

Optional

- Weekend workers with flexibility from Friday - Sunday are HIGHLY PREFERRED!

- General versatility with filling in the schedule gaps as a team player are a HUGE PLUS!
- Eagerness to grow and learn more about Barista work and general coffee handling is FANTASTIC!

Pay: $17.87 per hour

Work Location: In person
