As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced, passionate General Manager to lead our team, uphold our standards of excellence, and help write the next chapter of the FeelLove story.

Position Summary

The General Manager is the heartbeat of our shop both as a hands-on leader and strategic operator. You’ll spend four days a week on the café floor, guiding the team and engaging with customers, and one day a week focused on office duties, reporting, and business development.

This is an opportunity to build culture, drive performance, and lead one of Colorado’s most beloved coffee destinations.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Hire, onboard, mentor, and evaluate team members
  • Lead by example during shifts (service speed, hospitality, quality)
  • Hold staff accountable to standards of excellence
  • Foster a culture of gratitude, feedback, and growth

Operations & Floor Management

  • Oversee daily operations: opening, closing, shift flow, cleanliness, equipment use
  • Monitor inventory, receive deliveries, place orders
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food handling, sanitation
  • Resolve guest issues and escalations, ensuring brand recovery

Financial & Business Oversight

  • Manage scheduling and labor cost targets with assistant general manager
  • Track sales, COGS, labor metrics, identify trends/areas for improvement
  • Conduct weekly administrative work: sales goals, deposits, reporting
  • Collaborate with ownership around marketing, promotions, menu updates

Admin / Office Day

  • Prepare weekly schedules, staffing plans, labor forecasts
  • Review vendor contracts, ordering, supply chain organization
  • Analyze performance data and propose optimization strategies
  • Handle communications, bookkeeping, system updates

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment
  • Deep familiarity with specialty coffee and café operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Data- and metrics-driven mindset; comfortable interpreting reports
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to perform barista tasks at a high standard
  • Experience with POS systems, scheduling software, inventory systems
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
