COLD CALLING INTERN

About the Role

Higher Education Direct is seeking motivated and persuasive Sales Trainees to join our growing team. In this role, you will connect with prospective students through outbound calls and introduce them to the study abroad process. You will receive leads directly from the company, along with training and guidance to effectively engage, qualify, and transfer students to our senior counselors.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international student recruitment, communication, and sales, while working with a dynamic education consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective students from company-provided leads.
• Introduce and explain the basics of the study abroad process (training provided).
• Engage and qualify students, answering their initial queries.
• Transfer interested students to counselors for further guidance.
• Follow up with prospects to maintain interest and build rapport.
• Support conversion targets through consistent communication and professionalism.

Requirements

• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Interest in education, study abroad, or international student recruitment.
• Self-motivated and comfortable speaking with new people.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic computer and phone handling skills.
