Collaborating Mental Health Clinical Supervisor- LCSWC

It Takes A Family is an innovative community-based organization with locations in Laurel, MD and Cinnaminson, Bridgeton, Galloway, Pennsville, Lawrenceville and East Orange New Jersey. ITAF offers a number of services which include Outpatient Mental Health, In Home therapy, and Psychological and Psychiatric services. Our approach to service delivery is holistic in nature, viewing our clients not only from the perspective of their challenges, but in association with broader issues relating to their lives and the community they reside.

ITAF is seeking an independent licensed therapist to review, and sign off on treatment plans. This is a Remote position and will be for 5 hours per week. In addition, candidate must be willing to review and provide guidance to staff as needed based on allotted and agreed hours.

• Masters Level in Social Work or Psychology or any other related mental health field
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
• Strong problem solving and group work leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Independent License is a must

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring supervisees provide high quality patient care is given and that there is economical and efficient performance.
• Reviews treatment plans, and provides feedback in accordance to State Guidelines
• Oversees, reviews and provides guidance to quality documentation including finalizing treatment plan of care.
• Serves as clinical and administrative supervisor for the treatment staff
• Documentation of supervision sessions, and provision of said records on a minimum of a monthly basis
• Leads and directs and supervises staff
• Monitors quality of care, and performance of staff as a future independent clinician to identify areas for improvement
• Evaluates supervisees for compliance with accreditation and/or certification standards; coordinates and/or assists in activities regarding the development and implementation of plans and time frames for correcting deficiencies involving these standards.
• Responsible for the supervision and management of the electronic healthcare software as it pertains to review of client’s records
• Other duties as assigned based on programmatic changes for the compliance of supervision for supervisees

This role is a Remote position.
