Collaborating Physician (Collaborative Agreement – Physician Assistant)

About Us

Present Life Psychiatry is a holistic, relationship-centered outpatient mental health practice based in Colorado. We are seeking a Collaborating Physician to enter into a Collaborative Agreement with an experienced Physician Assistant in accordance with Colorado SB23-083. The PA has over 10 years of direct clinical experience in psychiatry. The collaborating physician serves as a consultative resource, and this role is ideal for physicians who prefer a low-commitment, supportive position.

This role requires minimal time commitment, can be performed remotely, and does not involve direct treatment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Collaborative Agreement as defined under Colorado law (SB23-083)
• Be available for consultative support when requested by the PA
• No routine chart review required unless clinically indicated
• No direct patient care required
• No prescribing or treatment oversight — collaboration only

Requirements

• Active Colorado MD license (required)
• Colorado resident
• Board-certified in Psychiatry
• Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry preferred
• Must be in good standing with state and federal regulatory bodies
• Comfortable with a collaborative and supportive supervision model
