Collaborating Physician (Remote, Telehealth – Low Volume, Non-Controlled Practice)

This position is ideal for a physician seeking supplemental income with minimal time commitment. The practice is intentionally structured to maintain a manageable workload and clear compliance processes.Seeking a licensed physician to serve as a collaborating physician for a Texas-based Family Nurse Practitioner providing telehealth services.

This is a low-volume, low-acuity practice focused on minor acute conditions, routine follow-up, and non-controlled medication management. The practice is in the startup phase and currently structured for approximately 2 days per week, averaging 8–12 patients per day as volume builds.

This role is designed to be minimal time commitment with structured documentation and an organized workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physician collaboration in accordance with Texas regulations
• Perform periodic chart review (approximately 10%)
• Be available for consultation as needed (infrequent)
• Participate in brief monthly check-in (virtual)

Practice Details:

• Telehealth only (no in-person requirements)
• No controlled substances prescribed
• Clearly defined scope and protocols
• Organized chart review and documentation system in place
• EHR access provided

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed MD or DO in Texas (active, unrestricted)
• Interested in a low-burden, flexible collaboration role

Compensation:

• Starting at $150–$250/month, based on volume
• Structured to remain low-demand with gradual growth
