Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Collaborative Pre-K Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that incorporate early childhood education best practices, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support children's social-emotional growth.
  • Deliver age-appropriate lessons tailored to the developmental needs of preschool-aged children, integrating concepts of childhood development and early intervention.
  • Support children’s learning through individualized instruction, tutoring, and hands-on activities that promote curiosity and exploration.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress using standardized testing methods and ongoing assessments to inform instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and implementing inclusive practices for children with special education needs.
  • Communicate regularly with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster strong home-school connections that support child welfare.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; classroom experience in private or public early childhood programs is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies.
  • Strong skills in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and promote active learning.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Certification or credential in early childhood education or related field preferred; relevant coursework or training in special education is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with toddler care practices, classroom management tools, and child welfare standards to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
