Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various psychiatric disciplines, including pediatric psychiatry and crisis management, and will be committed to providing high-quality mental health care. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy to patients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
- Manage medication regimens through psychopharmacology while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Offer crisis management support for patients in acute distress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Provide telehealth services as needed to expand access to care for patients.
- Engage in data collection for ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
- Participate in intake processes for new patients and follow up on their progress throughout treatment.

Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Psychiatry.
- Post-residency experience preferred, particularly in pediatric psychiatry or geriatrics.
- Strong background in mental health counseling, addiction counseling, and PTSD care.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Proficiency in crisis management techniques and patient assessment methodologies.
- Familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings is essential.
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices and ability to navigate electronic medical records effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and empathetic interactions.
