Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various psychiatric disciplines, including pediatric psychiatry, crisis management, and outpatient care. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients of all ages, including children and geriatrics.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and psychopharmacology.
  • Provide crisis management and intervention for patients experiencing acute mental health issues.
  • Offer addiction counseling and support for patients dealing with substance use disorders.
  • Engage in telehealth consultations as needed to expand access to care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality of patient records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in data collection for ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
  • Provide supervision and training for residents or interns as required.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Psychiatry.
  • Post-residency experience in a clinical setting preferred, particularly in pediatric psychiatry or geriatrics.
  • Proficiency in mental health counseling techniques including crisis management, PTSD care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and intake processes.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and provide comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is highly desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $113,935.29 - $137,212.39 per year
