Collection & Credit – UAE Market

Job Summary:

The Collection Representative is responsible for managing and collecting outstanding customer payments in the UAE market. The role involves communicating with clients to ensure timely payments, resolving billing issues, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall credit control and cash flow objectives of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers via phone, email, and other channels to follow up on overdue invoices.
• Negotiate payment plans and ensure adherence to agreed schedules.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and account statuses.
• Coordinate with the sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
• Monitor and update aging reports and provide regular collection status updates to management
• Escalate accounts requiring legal or external collection agency involvement when necessary
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies regarding collections and data privacy.
• Assist in credit assessments for new or existing clients when required.
• Prepare monthly collection performance reports and recommend improvements to collection processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in collections, credit control, or accounts receivable, preferably in the UAE market.
• Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations and local market practices
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and customer-focused approach.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of VAT and UAE invoicing procedures.
• Experience handling B2B and/or B2C collections.
• Team player with a proactive and results-oriented attitude.
