Job Summary
The Collections Specialist will own the end-to-end collections process for assigned customer accounts in KSA, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding receivables and maintaining healthy AR aging. This is a field-intensive, execution-driven role requiring regular in-person customer visits, strong follow-up discipline, and hands-on AR management.
Key Responsibilities

Own the full collections cycle from invoice issuance to cash realization for assigned customer portfolios

Conduct regular in-person visits to customer offices/sites across Riyadh and KSA for payment follow-ups

Make persistent follow-ups via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and face-to-face meetings to ensure timely collections

Negotiate payment plans and settlements where required, in coordination with Finance and Commercial teams

Manage AR aging and ensure bucket-wise monitoring of outstanding receivables

Handle payment allocation and reconciliation accurately against invoices and customer accounts

Coordinate with Finance to resolve unapplied payments, short payments, and credit note adjustments

Act as the primary point of contact for customer billing queries, invoice disputes, and payment-related issues

Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly by coordinating with Operations, Sales, and Finance teams

Escalate overdue and high-risk accounts to management with clear action plans

Prepare daily/weekly collections trackers, AR aging reports, and follow-up summaries for management review

Maintain dashboards on collection performance, DSO trends, and overdue exposure using Excel

Follow internal credit and collections policies and SOPs at all times

Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to AR and collections

Flag potential bad debts and recommend provisioning actions to Finance

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities, commitments, and payment statuses
Key Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
-
4–7 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit control — preferably in logistics, transportation, or B2B services in KSA

End-to-end knowledge of the collections and AR process
-
Strong follow-up discipline and negotiation ability

Proficiency in MS Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUP, aging analysis, MIS reporting (non-negotiable)

Good understanding of payment allocation, reconciliation, and invoice management

Comfortable with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or similar)

Must have a valid KSA driving license and own car — regular customer visits are a core part of this role

Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage

Familiarity with KSA business culture and payment practices

Self-driven, persistent, and comfortable working independently in the field
