Summary
This position is primarily responsible for supporting assigned chapters and their leaders in areas of recruitment, retention, public relations and sisterhood in compliance with Gamma Phi Beta policies and procedures. This position may also support extension and establishment of new chapters. This is a temporary position for two consecutive academic years with work aligning to the academic calendar. It has a full-time work schedule while school is in session and a reduced work schedule for approximately six to eight weeks per year during the summer.
Responsibilities
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Act as an on-site international Gamma Phi Beta representative for established and new collegiate chapters and their members.

Actively identify potential new members (PNMs) and recruit through primary and extension recruitment and continuous open bidding (COB).

Support member retention by evaluating member retention initiatives, identifying at-risk members and implementing retention interventions.

Support positive chapter public relations with international Gamma Phi Beta, the fraternity/sorority community, campus administrators, PNMs and the greater community.

Assist in the logistical execution of extension recruitment, including but not limited to tabling, cold calling, individual PNMs meetings, extension recruitment rounds, COB, etc., as necessary.

Support new chapters in executing daily chapter operations, including but not limited to financial management, member accountability, new member education, meeting facilitation, etc.

Partner with volunteer leaders and professional staff to support assigned collegiate chapters.

Coordinate effective, creative training and guidance for chapter collegiate officers, including but not limited to goal setting, facilitating workshops, distributing resource materials, etc.

Support financial management activities of assigned chapters as directed.

Partner with and utilize Gamma Phi Beta staff, volunteer leaders, chapter advisors and/or other advisory board members on chapter support measures.

Participate in consultant training and debriefings.

Perform administrative duties, including:

Tracking and updating Beta Base, Chapter Builder, weekly reports and event details.

Submitting expense reports with receipts and timecards to International Headquarters at appropriate deadlines.

Completion of all reporting requirements by deadline.

Establish and maintain relationships with campus fraternity/sorority advisor(s) to foster communication between headquarters, university and chapter.

Utilize social media, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, etc., appropriately to communicate effectively with collegians, advisors and volunteers as needed and as directed by staff.

Publicize CLC position and identify future candidates.

Complete online training modules in Fidelity and any other learning management systems as assigned.

Attend weekly meetings with the CLC program manager and CLC team.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree required. Leadership experience in sorority, Panhellenic or other student organizations preferred.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software (Excel); word processing software (Word); electronic mail software (Outlook); database software (iMIS); presentation software (PowerPoint); project management software.

International Headquarters staff, International Council, Sorority members, Sorority volunteers, intra-fraternal peers, university administrators and organization partners.
Location
This position will be based at an assigned chapter location in Ohio, Kentucky, South Carolina, Illinois, California or Virginia. The assigned chapter location may change during the CLC term. This position may require limited regional travel to different collegiate chapters as directed based on Sorority needs. Room and board while on a location-based assignment are covered. Short term remote work may occur over university breaks.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position is $18.00 per hour and is eligible for overtime pay at a rate of $27.00 per hour.
