Collision Repair Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collision Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition with precision and expertise. Your work will involve repairing, replacing, and refinishing auto body parts, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Perform collision repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and structural repairs using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair or fabricate vehicle components.
  • Conduct auto body repairs such as dent removal, sanding, priming, and auto painting with airless paint spraying equipment.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively for disassembly, assembly, and detailed finishing work.
  • Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto restoration projects with attention to detail.
  • Maintain mechanical knowledge to assist with vehicle maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs as needed.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and quality expectations while adhering to dealership or shop protocols.

Qualifications

  • Prior dealership or auto body shop experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding, sheet metal work, fabrication, and auto painting techniques.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and auto glass replacement equipment.
  • Knowledge of auto body repair processes including auto restoration and detailing.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and estimates.
  • Familiarity with auto estimating systems and heavy lifting equipment is a plus. Pay: $20.69 - $30.94 per hour
