Color & Materials Consultant

Job Overview:

Urban Casa is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Color & Materials Consultant to support our residential interior design and home staging projects. This role focuses on curating cohesive color palettes, finishes, and material selections that reflect each client’s personality while enhancing the functionality and aesthetic appeal of their space.

As a boutique design studio, Urban Casa emphasizes personalized interiors, balancing architectural elements with thoughtful design details to create beautiful, livable homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop customized color palettes for residential interiors, including paint, textiles, and finishes
• Select and specify materials such as flooring, cabinetry finishes, countertops, fabrics, and wall treatments
• Collaborate with interior designers on space planning and overall design concepts
• Create material boards and visual presentations for client approval
• Stay current on design trends, materials, and sustainable options
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source furniture, fabrics, and finishes
• Support home staging projects by selecting market-appropriate color schemes and styling elements
• Ensure all selections align with the client’s vision, lifestyle, and budget

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in color consulting, material selection, or interior design
• Strong understanding of color theory, textures, and material applications
• Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Excellent visual presentation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Pay: $65,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
