Combination Licensed Esthetician/Nail Technician

Job Summary
Rob Rivers Salon & Spa is looking for an experienced licensed combination Esthetician/Nail technician who is looking for a new environment where they will be able to excel.

This is a part-time position which could possibly open up to a full-time position, depending on bookings. We offer either an hourly or a commission based pay which will be determined on your daily totals. We apply whichever is higher for you on that particular day. Hourly rate would be $17.35 and the commission would range between 45-50%.

We are looking for someone who is a team player and comes with experience in both of these positions. You would be expected to provide high quality esthetic services, manicures, and pedicures while maintaining the highest level of customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of esthetic treatments such as facials, micro-dermabrasion, hydra facial, chemical peels, LED Light therapy, EMS, body waxing, brow tinting & lamination, lash-lift- & tint, and eyelash lift & tints with precision and care (Training can be provided for services you are not already familiar with).
• Make-up application and eyelash extension knowledge a plus
• Provide professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, and cuticle care to enhance clients’ natural beauty
• Hard Gel and Gel-X extension applications a plus, but not necessary
• Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and maintenance tips to promote healthy skin
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations after each service to ensure client safety
• Upsell retail products effectively by understanding client needs and explaining benefits clearly

Qualifications

• Valid state license as an Esthetician and Nail Technician with comprehensive knowledge of cosmetology practices
• At least 2 years of spa experience in both esthetics and nails
• Proficiency in skin analysis, body waxing, dermabrasion techniques, hydra facial, facials, chemical peels, LED Light therapy, EMS- Electrical Muscle Stimulation, pedicures, & manicures (willing to train for some services that you are not familiar with, but must have a solid base of knowledge for others)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
• Attention to detail while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff
• Experience with retail sales techniques including upselling and retail math to enhance revenue opportunities
• Excellent communication skills to educate clients about products and treatment options effectively
