Mindgruve's global media team consists of strategic and tactical experts across our core Media Pillars: Paid Search, Programmatic, Paid Social, Earned Media, Planning & Commerce Media. The Mindgruve Commerce division drives strategy across paid media, performance creative and retail operations for global and multi-national brands selling & advertising through the vast ecosystem of retail media networks and marketplaces around the globe. We are seeking a Commerce Media Associate with an appetite to manage and optimize media campaigns on retail media networks and online marketplaces, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to tackle the challenges of an ever-evolving retail media landscape.

Mindgruve is seeking a self-motivated, results-driven Commerce Media Associate.

This role is ideal for someone eager to build expertise across retail media marketplaces including Amazon, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, and other emerging retail networks, while supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of performance-driven retail media campaigns. The ideal candidate is analytically minded, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn how retail media drives full-funnel impact.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Support Commerce Media Managers and Media Leads in developing and executing retail media strategies aligned to client business goals, product priorities, and marketplace dynamics
  • Assist in the setup, trafficking, pacing, and optimization of retail media campaigns across marketplaces (e.g., Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, onsite and offsite retail placements)
  • Monitor budgets and pacing to ensure full delivery and efficient spend against KPIs such as ROAS, CPC, CVR, and share of voice
  • Maintain accurate campaign documentation, including placement details, optimizations, and performance notes
  • Build and maintain client-facing dashboard reports and performance summaries specific to retail media metrics
  • Analyze marketplace performance data to generate insights around shopper behavior, product performance, conversion trends, and path-to-purchase
  • Assist with weekly and monthly client reporting, including performance recaps, testing insights, and optimization recommendations
  • Stay current on retail media platform updates, ad products, measurement capabilities, and best practices
  • Support internal teams and leadership with reporting related to spend, performance trends, and learning agendas
  • Develop a working understanding of eCommerce ecosystems, retailer data signals, and how retail media fits within broader full-funnel media strategies

We Need a Person With:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, analytics, or a related discipline (or equivalent internship/ work experience)
  • 0–2 years of experience in paid media, ecommerce, retail media, or performance marketing at an agency, brand, retailer, or tech platform
  • Strong interest in learning and working within retail media platforms such as Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Instacart, Kroger, or similar marketplaces
  • Familiarity with paid media fundamentals (budget pacing, KPIs, optimization, reporting); prior hands-on platform experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across media, strategy, and analytics teams
  • High level of professional and personal integrity
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on performance, data accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and campaigns simultaneously

Compensation:

  • Compensation: $25-$28 per hour (Pay range is based on a market reference point and potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, experience and geographic location of the individual candidate. The compensation range reflects base rate only.)

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. We have six office locations in the US: San Diego, California, Los Angeles, California, Covington, Kentucky, Denver, Colorado, Nashville, Tennessee and Charleston, South Carolina. We're seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively with us in one of our office's; however, based on business needs and unique job functions, some roles may be eligible for remote work. (Bonus points if you're bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese.)
