The Role
We are seeking a Commercial Admin cum Receptionist. Primarily the role will be acting as first point of contact for our company, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for clients, visitors, and employees. Additionally, assisting in the commercial department gathering documents and uploading for bids. Duties and responsibilities - Responsible for Updating Global Vessels database. - Maintenance of database system for enquiries, clients, contracts and offers. - Responsible for opening and maintaining contract files. - Responsible for recording on/off hire times of vessels and ensuring related contract information is received in a timely manner, recorded, and filed. - Tender/Bid/Contract administration, preparation, and submission. - Preparation of commercial material (Presentation, Specifications ) - Preparation of market availability of vessels. - Issuing commercial information, preparation of letters and general correspondence. - Coordination with ship owners and PS departments for bid preparation. - Assisting in market research and competitor analysis.
Requirements
- Preferably someone working within the Shipping and Maritime industry. - Able to work as part of a team and demonstrate ability to changing demands. - Good decision making and analytical skills. - Be well organised and be able to prioritise work effectively. - Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint. - Excellent command of the English language.
