Linden Shipping International LLC (L.S.I.), established in July 1994 in Dubai, U.A.E., is a leading marine chartering and towage company. Over the years, L.S.I. has expanded significantly from managing one barge to owning 57 vessels, 10 cranes, and managing additional vessels for other owners. The company primarily engages in ship chartering, barge and tug rentals, ship pilotage and towing services, as well as ship management and operation. L.S.I. is based in Sharjah Hamriyah Free Zone with a 13,000 sq. meter yard and employs approximately 240 full-time staff, making it a dynamic force in the maritime industry.

Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Commercial Assistant based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Commercial Assistant will be responsible for supporting the commercial operations of L.S.I., including managing daily communication with clients, handling ship chartering tasks, assisting with the coordination of vessel operations, and contributing to client prospecting efforts. The role also involves providing excellent customer service and supporting the company’s broader commercial management initiatives alongside the team.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Commercial activities, including familiarity with ship chartering and operational functions
• Proven ability in Client Prospecting and Commercial Management to support business growth
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with clients and contribute to positive relationships
• Proficiency in organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
• Experience in the maritime or logistics sector is an added advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or a related field is preferred
