Position Overview

Summit Electric & Data is seeking a Commercial A/V Project Manager to support and lead multi-site deployments for enterprise clients across the United States. This role is responsible for managing commercial A/V and low voltage projects, including national and regional rollout initiatives across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has experience managing multi-site deployments, coordinating subcontractors, and utilizing modern project management tools to track scheduling, logistics, and project performance.

This role requires strong organizational skills, solid technical understanding of low voltage systems, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute commercial A/V and low voltage deployment projects
  • Manage multi-site rollout projects across regional or national portfolios
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, installation sequencing, and resource planning
  • Coordinate subcontractors, technicians, and vendors across multiple markets
  • Assist with procurement, material tracking, and site readiness
  • Track project progress using project management and reporting tools
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams
  • Ensure installation quality, documentation, and adherence to project scope
  • Identify risks and assist in resolving scheduling, site, or logistics issues
  • Support multiple concurrent projects and rollout programs

  • Multi-location access control upgrades and installations
  • Commercial display and monitor deployments across multiple sites
  • A/V system installations and upgrades for enterprise clients
  • Low voltage infrastructure and structured cabling projects

Required Experience

  • 3–6+ years of experience managing commercial A/V, technology, or low voltage projects
  • Experience supporting or managing multi-site deployment projects
  • Working knowledge of commercial A/V systems, access control, structured cabling, and network infrastructure
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors or vendors
  • Experience managing projects with multiple locations preferred

Technology & Tools

Candidates should be comfortable using modern tools to manage projects, including:

  • Project management platforms (Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, or similar)
  • Cloud collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, etc.)
  • Construction documentation tools (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
  • Scheduling and tracking tools for multi-site deployments
  • Basic reporting and dashboard tracking

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized project manager who can effectively coordinate multi-site deployments, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and keep projects on track. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a growing, fast-paced environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
