Commercial Catering Equipment Engineer (Full-Time) – London (E17 Area)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Catering Equipment Engineer to join our team in London / Walthamstow. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in servicing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment and be able to travel to the E17 area.

The position involves working on-site across various client locations, providing expert support to keep essential equipment operational.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial catering equipment
• Cleaning commercial catering equipment
• Work on cookers, ovens, fryers, and dishwashers
• Carry out routine maintenance and emergency repairs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with regulations
• Travel to client sites within the London (E17) area
• Provide professional and efficient customer service
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on commercial catering equipment, including ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and refrigeration units.
• Lead repair projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high safety standards.
• Install new equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and client requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems related to air conditioning systems and other integrated appliances.
• Assist with the refurbishment or construction of new kitchen installations as required.

Skills

• Proven experience with commercial catering equipment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality service within the commercial catering sector, possess a proactive approach to problem-solving, and have a solid foundation in mechanical systems.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Right to work in the UK
• Good communication skills
• Turkish language skills are an advantage but not essential

Pay: £27,914.16-£45,000.00 per year
