Job Title: Part-Time Daycare Cleaner

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment at our daycare facility. This position is essential in supporting the health and well-being of the children and staff by ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met each day after closing hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize classrooms, bathrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors
• Empty trash bins and replace liners
• Wipe down surfaces including tables, chairs, shelves, and toys
• Clean glass doors and windows as needed
• Refill soap, paper towels, and other supplies
• Follow cleaning checklists and procedures to meet health and safety regulations
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred (especially in childcare, schools, or healthcare settings)
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
• Must pass background check and meet local childcare safety requirements
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
