Commercial Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and institutional spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute to a professional cleaning team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in assigned areas
• Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure high standards of hygiene
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies are low
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, safely and effectively
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Adhere to company policies and standards for cleanliness and professionalism

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services is preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
