Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
• Clean carpets using specialized equipment to remove stains and dirt, ensuring a fresh appearance
• Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and restock as needed to ensure continuous cleaning operations
• Follow environmental services protocols by disposing of waste properly and using eco-friendly cleaning products whenever possible
• Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards while adhering to company policies
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or industrial environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and use of cleaning machinery is highly desirable
• Familiarity with environmental services practices and safety regulations related to commercial cleaning
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
