Commercial Cleaner

Weyland Ventures is looking for an incredible individual to serve as a Commercial Cleaner to elevate and clean our commercial properties in a way that is reflective of our purpose and values. In this role, you will complete the janitorial services at our properties throughout downtown Louisville, while to ensure it is presentable, well-maintained and desirable to prospective tenants.

Position Summary

This position maintains and repairs facilities for commercial and multi-unit residential properties, executes work orders in a timely manner, and ensures the properties maintain excellent curb appeal and first impressions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Cleans public spaces on a regular schedule to ensure all are cleaned and maintained.
• Responsible for cleaning and preparing residential units prior to resident move-ins and assists with trash collection.
• Picks up debris in the hallways of buildings, around buildings, inside parking garages, corridors, elevator lobbies, and amenity spaces.
• Cleans restrooms, common areas, and offices as designated by Property Manager.
• Vacuums and mops hallways, corridors, and stairwells.
• Assists Facilities with snow and ice removal from building walkways and parking areas.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and orders supplies when necessary, and in conjunction with the Facilities team.
• Assists with minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, paint touch up, etc. as requested.
• Ensures that unsafe property conditions are reported to the Facilities team in a timely manner, including unlocked/inoperable doors, slip hazards, etc.
• Assists with picking up dog waste, trash, etc. on site in conjunction with the maintenance team.
• Assists with walking public spaces at various times to ensure they are not being used differently as intended, as applicable.
• Responds to miscellaneous needs such as tenant lockouts, as applicable.
• Walking the building and checking all doors and windows to ensure security of the building.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous janitorial and housekeeping experience is preferred.
• This position requires strong attention to detail, strong time management skills and one must have the interest and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be available to work during non-traditional business hours (early to late evenings).
• Hold a valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to operate own vehicle to travel from property to property.
