Commercial Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. Your work will directly contribute to the health and well-being of staff, patients, and visitors by ensuring all areas are properly sanitized and maintained to the highest standards. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to consistently uphold strict cleaning and sanitation standards, which are especially critical in a medical setting.

We are currently hiring for two separate facility assignments and are seeking qualified candidates for each location. One candidate may be assigned to Facility #1 and another to Facility #2. Alternatively, for the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to combine both facilities into a single route. This option may be discussed further during the phone interview.

Facility #1 Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday (5 days per week)

Facility #2 Schedule:

  • Monday through Sunday (7 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing high-touch areas.
  • Maintain restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic space.
  • Safely use and maintain cleaning tools such as mop and pad poles, and vacuums.
  • Properly handle and dispose of garbage following health and safety protocols.
  • Handle all cleaning supplies with care to maximize their lifespan and effectiveness.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures to meet industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed in the building to your Operations Manager.
  • Ability to Work Independently: responsible for completing assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role, particularly within commercial buildings required. We require a minimum of 3 years.
  • Ability to handle a physical workload including walking, bending and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to read and comprehend chemical labels along with written and verbal instructions.
  • Attention to Detail: ability to maintain high cleanliness standards in medical environments.
  • Daily attendance and punctuality are critical; must be reliable and dedicated.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work sites.
  • Adhere to our dress code and appearance standards by wearing the assigned company shirt.

You must be eligible to work in the United States and furnish a valid Florida Driver’s License and Social Security Card if you are selected for the position.

Upon hire, candidates will be required to complete two paid training assessments consisting of reading and written tests. Candidates will be compensated for the time spent completing these assessments. Successful completion of both assessments is required before beginning onsite training.

Candidates must successfully undergo a background check as required.

Pay: $384.00 - $880.00 per month
