Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of apartments including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and hallways to meet move-out standards
• Common area/hallway cleaning
• Execute detailed floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and applying appropriate treatments for different flooring types
• Sanitize all surfaces, fixtures, appliances, and trash areas to ensure health and safety compliance
• Conduct thorough janitorial tasks such as dusting, window cleaning, and trash removal to leave each unit spotless
• Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Document completed work and report any maintenance or repair issues discovered during cleaning

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning with a focus on move-out or deep cleaning projects
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and proper cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate professionally with property managers and tenants when necessary
• Ability to manage multiple apartments efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and floor care equipment is highly desirable
• Experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles adds valuable insight into maintaining cleanliness excellence
• Basic laundry skills combined with janitorial experience ensure thoroughness in all aspects of apartment turnover cleaning
