Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Clean carpets using specialized equipment such as carpet extractors or steam cleaners to remove stains and dirt buildup.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies as needed.
• Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Support environmental services initiatives by properly disposing of waste and recycling materials in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during scheduled maintenance or after-hours shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning methods.
• Familiarity with janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, extractors, and steam cleaners.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on health and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
