Commercial cleaner/ janitor

Job Summary
Nicole’s Commercial and Residential Cleaning LLC is hiring for our Wolfeboro, New Hampshire location. We are looking for a reliable, honest professional who understands that quality is found in the details. A clean criminal background is required. This is a physically demanding role; you must be able to lift at least 30 pounds, bend, and twist consistently.

​Our standards are high, and we expect you to go above and beyond. You must be able to clean a gym efficiently, sanitizing all surface areas and equipment. Responsibilities include deep-cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, showers, hallways, desks, chairs, and computer screens. You will be expected to mop, wash floors, dust, vacuum, and remove trash with extreme attention to detail. Additionally, you must restock all toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, and other supplies, and provide notice when inventory is running low. Please note we do not perform floor stripping or waxing.

​A working vehicle and cell phone are mandatory, though phone use is strictly prohibited during work hours. Former business owners should not apply. This nighttime position is perfect for a mom looking for extra income. The schedule is Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 6:30 PM to approximately 12:30 AM.

​Starting pay is $17 dollars an hour during training. After proving your reliability and quality of work, pay increases to between $18 and $20 plus per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance
• Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently to promote a clean environment
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
• Assist with basic custodial duties such as window washing, dusting, and surface sanitization
• Support light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and painting as needed for facility upkeep
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for all staff

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or industrial settings
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods
• Ability to operate cleaning extractors safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
• Basic understanding of facilities maintenance practices is preferred but not required
