Commercial Cleaner/Janitor

For this specific position, you will be cleaning a Children's Center in Detroit off of West Grand Blvd and John C Lodge 5 evenings a week. The cleaning will be done on Monday-Friday any time after 7 pm and will take about 3-4 hours per day.

Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways and lobbies
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Responsible and reliable individual
