Job Description

CleanScapes by Barlow is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Specialist to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for someone looking for part-time evening, weekend, or flexible cleaning work with the opportunity for additional hours as the company grows. Commercial cleaning may include offices, professional buildings, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens/breakrooms, floors, trash removal, and general upkeep.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, efficient, and able to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform commercial cleaning services at client locations

Clean offices, bathrooms, kitchens, breakrooms, common areas, and entryways

Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize surfaces, remove trash, and restock supplies as needed

Follow building-specific cleaning checklists and company standards

Communicate any issues, supply needs, or schedule concerns with the team

Maintain a professional and respectful presence in commercial spaces

Work independently or with another team member depending on the account

Ideal Candidate

Able to follow checklists and client-specific instructions

Good communication skills

Positive attitude and willingness to grow with the company

Requirements

Reliable transportation is required

Valid driver’s license preferred

Ability to travel between client locations

Working cell phone required

Ability to stand, bend, lift, kneel, vacuum, mop, and complete physical cleaning tasks

Prior commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate

Schedule

Part-time

Approximately 10–20 hours per week to start

Evening and/or weekend availability may be needed

Additional hours may become available based on performance, availability, and company growth

Compensation

Starting pay is typically $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience, reliability, and skill level. This position has the potential to grow into additional hours as new commercial accounts are added.
