Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across commercial facilities, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
• Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance
• Conduct janitorial and custodial services with attention to detail, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards
• Maintain supplies by monitoring inventory levels and restocking cleaning products and equipment as needed
• Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning projects or specialized maintenance tasks in large-scale facilities
• Assist with light maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs to support overall facility upkeep
• Document completed tasks and report any issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction
• Experience with general facilities maintenance or porter duties is advantageous
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety protocols required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills necessary for completing multiple tasks efficiently
