Commercial Concrete Carpenter

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Concrete Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise concrete carpentry tasks on commercial construction projects, ensuring structures are built to exact specifications and safety standards. Your expertise in concrete forming, finishing, and related carpentry skills will contribute to the successful completion of high-quality projects. Responsibilities

• Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete formwork and related carpentry tasks
• Construct, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete pouring using hand tools and power tools, ensuring stability and alignment
• Install rebar reinforcement according to specifications for durability and structural integrity
• Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and surface treatments such as smoothing, plastering, stucco application, and caulking
• Operate heavy equipment including concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools safely and efficiently on-site
• Conduct concrete cutting, core drilling, and other related tasks with precision to meet project requirements
• Maintain strict adherence to construction workplace safety regulations and protocols at all times

Experience

• Proven experience working on commercial construction projects as a concrete carpenter or in a similar role
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete mixing processes
• Skilled in blueprint reading, interpretation of technical drawings, and understanding construction plans and specifications
• Hands-on experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, finishing techniques, and formwork construction
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for safe project execution
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools effectively in a fast-paced environment
