Commercial Delivery Driver

Duties

- Overnight Routes - Operate Box Truck and be at warehouse from 11pm-4am. You will load truck at warehouse then deliver plumbing supplies locally to two stores in Connecticut.

- Clean Background with Medical Card Required
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a box truck, to transport car parts to designated dealerships
- Load and unload cargo using manual methods or equipment, such as pallet jacks
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safe delivery of goods
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients
- Plan and execute efficient routes to maximize delivery productivity and meet scheduled deadlines
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details

Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures using pallet jacks or similar equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- Experience driving box trucks or vans is preferred
