This is a pivotal appointment for the business. The Commercial Director will take ownership of the commercial strategy across all food categories. The role will encompass buying, category management, supplier relationships, pricing, and promotional strategy, with accountability for delivering sustainable growth and profitability.

You will play a critical role in shaping product ranges, building supplier partnerships, and ensuring that the supermarket concept remains competitive, innovative, and highly relevant to today s consumer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial function across all food categories.

  • Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships; lead high-level negotiations.
  • Shape product and category ranges in line with consumer trends and brand values.

  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance to deliver business objectives.
  • Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and development of the commercial team.
