As Commercial Director (Demand & Growth), you will be responsible for driving demand generation, customer growth, revenue performance, and market expansion across Saudi Arabia.
You will lead the development and execution of market growth strategies while identifying new opportunities across subscriptions, partnerships, retail, CPG, and emerging business initiatives.
This is not a traditional brand marketing role.
We're looking for a business leader whose core expertise is marketing and growth, but who approaches every decision through a commercial lens. You'll be expected to own outcomes, make independent decisions, and act as a strategic partner to market leadership.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to grow customers, improve retention, increase revenue, unlock new growth opportunities, and drive overall market performance.
Lead market growth strategy across Saudi Arabia
Drive customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and revenue growth
Own demand generation and customer growth performance across all channels
Identify growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives with the highest commercial impact
Act as a key business partner in driving overall market performance
Launch and scale new growth channels, partnerships, and business opportunities
Support expansion initiatives across subscriptions, retail, CPG, and future business verticals
Identify and execute strategic partnerships that drive customer and revenue growth
Evaluate pricing, promotions, offers, and commercial initiatives to maximize business performance
Develop integrated growth strategies across digital, offline, CRM, lifecycle, referral, and performance marketing channels
Optimize marketing investments through rigorous performance analysis and ROI management
Continuously improve CAC efficiency, retention, LTV, and revenue contribution
Ensure marketing efforts directly support business growth objectives
Serve as Calo's commercial owner for Saudi Arabia
Build relationships with partners, agencies, vendors, and key stakeholders across the Kingdom
Represent the business locally and provide market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive analysis
Act with a high degree of ownership and autonomy in market decision-making
Analyze customer behavior, growth trends, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics
Build reporting frameworks and performance dashboards that connect marketing efforts to business outcomes
Use insights to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation
Actively utilize AI tools to improve analysis, planning, execution, content creation, productivity, and decision-making
Champion innovative growth practices and scalable operating models
Continuously explore new technologies and automation opportunities that improve team effectiveness and business performance
Partner closely with Commercial, Product, Growth, Operations, Finance, and Leadership teams
Align growth initiatives with broader company objectives
Lead agencies, external partners, and cross-functional projects from strategy through execution
8+ years of experience in Growth, Commercial Marketing, Demand Generation, Revenue Growth, Market Expansion, or related leadership roles
Strong B2C experience is required
Experience scaling consumer-facing businesses in high-growth environments
Proven track record of driving measurable customer growth, retention, and revenue impact
Experience owning market performance, business growth, or commercial outcomes beyond traditional marketing metrics
Experience operating within the Saudi market is highly preferred
Deep understanding of customer growth, retention, subscriptions, revenue drivers, and commercial performance
Strong business acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities beyond marketing campaigns
Experience launching new channels, products, partnerships, or business initiatives
Ability to operate independently and make high-quality decisions with limited oversight
Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership abilities
KSA market experience is required
GCC experience is highly preferred
Strong understanding of Saudi consumer behavior, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities
Existing network within the Saudi business ecosystem is a plus
