Commercial Door Technician

• VIP Doors & Gates is a small company looking for a technician that will work with us to inspect, service, troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair industrial doors and more that our company may offer to customers. Technician must be available to work in Orange County, LA County, Riverside County, San Bernandino County, and beyond.
• Technician must be presentable and showcase good customer service skills, as you will serve as the act of our company and may be the primary point of contact at the job site assigned to you. Most of our jobs are in teams of multiple people, but in some cases, you will be required to work independently in the field.
• This Position requires some experience in commercial door and dock Installation and repair such as welding, the use of power tools, installation of equipment, and more. This position requires the ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 75 lbs. Candidates will be required to drive company vehicles, so a pre-employment DMV Driver License Information Request will be required to insure clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Preform Preventative Maintenance by cleaning, lubing, cycling, and inspecting all aspects of serviceable equipment.
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment.
• Preform inspections, repairs, service, testing, and install a variety of equipment.
• Complete detailed service reports at the end of each assignment
• Maintain company truck, uniform, and safety gear in good condition.
• Follows all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Able to work well without supervision and in a team environment.
• Must show good attendance on an everyday basis.

Qualifications:

• Experience with maintenance and/or repair of commercial doors, dock, dock levelers, and other related industrial equipment.
• Experience in welding and electrical work
• Able to follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Able to work without supervision and in a team environment.
• Must have excellent customer service.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Must have a Vaid Driver's License

Pay Rate is Negotiable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
