Commercial Driver // General Laborer OSHA 40 REQUIRED

Job Overview

We are looking for a full-time commercial driver and general laborer helper.

Experience with commercial vehicles is necessary, along with experience driving Manhattan routes. A CDL license is NOT required, but we are looking for someone that possesses a Class B or other license (no weight restriction)

Along with being a driver, you are also expected to have general construction knowledge to assist on-site or in our shop.

The position is full-time and on the books, so permission to work in the United States is needed.

Be aware an an active OSHA 40 card is needed for this position.
(SST 10 and OSHA 30)

Duties

• Maintain updated weekly truck log / check-list
• Safely operate company vehicles following all traffic laws and company policies
• Pick up and delivery construction materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites and back to the shop
• Load and secure materials when transporting them to prevent spills or damage
• Assist with general shop duties and/or projects when not on-site
• When on-site, assist assigned supervisor with project at hand

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
