Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Drive a variety of specialized trailers including flatbed, , dump trailer, and open top chip trailers to accommodate different freight types.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and securing mechanisms.
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and adhering to hours-of-service regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and inspection reports in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating manual transmission trucks in a regional or local setting.
• Demonstrated ability to load & unload freight using forklifts or other handling equipment safely.
• Experience driving flatbed trucks with various cargo types including freight and construction materials.
• Be able to pass a drug test
• Prior delivery driver experience involving route driving and managing multiple stops efficiently.

Pay: $1,250.00 - $1,800.00 per week
